My credentials include five years experience as a full time, full service real estate professional, while earning the designations of Accredited Buyer Representative and Graduate Realtor Institute as well as certifications in historic properties, York City Savvy and relocation. I maintain real estate licenses in Pennsylvania and Maryland, am current in all required continuing education & ethics training and maintain memberships in five real estate professional organizations. I have experience and training in short sales and foreclosures. I serve four PA counties - Adams, Cumberland, Franklin & York as well as in Maryland along the PA border. I hold a graduate degree from the Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree from Millersville State University. Additional experience includes 5 years as administrator of a non-profit organization devoted to economic development & historic preservation in Gettysburg 1998-2003, home based businesses while my children were young 1987-1998, and teaching gifted & talented students and being a grants-writer 1978-1982.
Currently, Rotary International is an enjoyable aspect of my Gettysburg community service. For 2009-2010, I’m on its board of directors, chair its philanthropy committee and serve on its long range planning committee. If you have questions or need to network with the community, I usually can find your answer within the Rotary membership. More personally, I’m a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, have 3 daughters ages 17-23, recently remarried, and enjoy concerts, theater, martial arts, baking, and dining out. I’ve lived in Gettysburg since 1994. I also served on the Adams County Arts Council board of directors 2000-2004.
